In a surprising partnership that defies usual predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Uncovered

According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual meeting leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where whispers of forbidden practices and fearsome transformations reverberate through the shadows." The plot introduces a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a secret sect.

The adventure concentrates on "strange tests and a terrifying foe" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Locations and Metamorphoses

The teaser features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, likely the captive, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
