The Eyes of Tammy Faye

In the battle between faith and wealth, the winner is obvious for Mammon in this director's brilliantly over-the-top true story regarding the shamed religious broadcaster and her criminal husband. It's a spectacle of tacky decor, excessive cosmetics and hypocrisy, however the lead actress manages to depict Tammy Faye with compassion. Tuesday 14 October, early morning, on Film4
